Soft­ware Consultant

The sones con­sul­tant and sup­port team is a young and dynamic team that has grown tremen­dously since it started a year ago. We are fac­ing excit­ing oppor­tu­ni­ties to pro­vide grow­ing busi­ness value with the best tech­nol­ogy solu­tions. We are look­ing for an enthu­si­as­tic soft­ware con­sul­tant to join our team in Erfurt, Germany. 

Respon­si­bil­i­ties

  • Design and imple­ment cus­tomer use-cases and adap­tions based on our technology.
  • Con­tribute to the tech­nol­ogy and process stan­dards of the team, and drive com­pli­ance through design/code reviews and unit tests.
  • Develop best prac­tice solu­tions and sub­stan­ti­ated documentation.
  • Cus­tomer sup­port and prod­uct training.

Require­ments and skills

  • B.A. / B.S. in Infor­ma­tion Sys­tems, (Applied) Com­puter Sci­ence or related fields.
  • Expe­ri­ence in .NET, C#, Java, C++, SQL or equiv­a­lent technologies.
  • Demon­strated exper­tise in object ori­ented design, design pat­terns, and data structures.
  • Abil­ity to work effec­tively with related teams, includ­ing devel­op­ment and project man­age­ment team.
  • Excel­lent writ­ten and ver­bal com­mu­ni­ca­tion skills, with out­stand­ing flu­ency in the Ger­man and Eng­lish languages.

Desir­able, but not manda­tory, areas of tech­ni­cal exper­tise include: Rela­tional DBMS; “NOtonlySQL” data­bases; type– and memory-safe run­times; web tech­nolo­gies like REST and JavaScript; The desire to per­form some tech­ni­cal man­age­ment is also a plus.
